But beyond the brief rush of that event lies a city steeped in medieval history, Basque influence, and a slower pace that surprises many visitors. One of the most significant aspects of Pamplona is its place on the Camino de Santiago, the ancient pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela.

Although Alpharetta is not a particularly big city now, experts predict that in about 25 years, Alpharetta will be the geographical center of metro Atlanta, as the area continues to expand North. After driving past many empty fields, or wooded areas, you might find it hard to believe that Alpharetta will really become such a major city. Douz is a town in southern Tunisia on the edge of the Sahara, where date-palm oases meet the dunes of the Grand Erg Oriental.
