From Rockhampton you can discover the richness and diversity of this region. To the east the blue waters of the Pacific Ocean lap the Capricorn Coast which is grandly decorated with stretches of sandy beaches, the Great Barrier Reef and semi-tropical islands.

Seward is a coastal city at the head of Resurrection Bay on Alaska’s Kenai Peninsula. Mountains rise around the community, while its harbor opens toward the Gulf of Alaska. The city is an important gateway to Kenai Fjords National Park and a center for commercial fishing, marine transportation, and outdoor recreation. Seward also marks the southern terminus of the historic Iditarod Trail.

Trier, Germany’s oldest city, is a living museum nestled in the Moselle Valley, where Roman ruins rise beside medieval churches and bustling market squares. La Gomera, one of the Canary Islands, offers a unique and captivating escape with its lush landscapes and rich cultural heritage. The Garajonay National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is the crown jewel of La Gomera, featuring dense laurel forests that date back to the Tertiary period.

Beirut traces its roots back over 5,000 years. Once called Berytus during the Roman era, it grew into a key port of the Mediterranean. Today’s visitors can follow the Beirut Heritage Trail, a 2.5 km walking route marked with bronze medallions, that links archaeological sites, historic courtyards, and restored Ottoman buildings. The path unveils layers of the city's past one block at a time.

Pebble Island is one of the larger islands in the northern part of the Falkland Islands, known for its open landscapes, long beaches, rocky shores, and low hills. The island stretches across a varied terrain of grassland, peat, freshwater ponds, and coastal cliffs, with several bays providing sheltered areas for wildlife. A small settlement serves as the island’s main community, while much of the surrounding land remains open and lightly developed.
