Queen Elizabeth National Park, in western Uganda, is one of East Africa’s most diverse and scenic protected areas. Stretching from the Rwenzori Mountains to the shores of Lake Edward, the park encompasses savannah, wetlands, and dense forests, making it a sanctuary for an incredible array of wildlife.
Even though Linköping has developed into an industrial center and is Sweden's fifth-largest city, it maintains a small-town atmosphere. Old Linköping is the restored town center with preserved buildings from the 18th and 19th centuries. The tower of the impressive Linköping Cathedral, which took nearly 300 years to complete, can be seen from a distance of more than 10 kilometers.
Culture, dining and nightlife are just a few of the reasons to find yourself in sunny Brisbane. This sprawling, constantly-evolving river city is for the young and the young at heart. Shop at the outdoor markets, where you'll find fashion, crafts and produce. Beaches are the order of the day here, too, with North Stradbroke Island and Moreton Island attracting hordes of sunbathers.
Udaipur, often referred to as the "City of Lakes," is one of India’s most enchanting destinations, nestled in the state of Rajasthan. Known for its opulent palaces, tranquil lakes, and rich history, Udaipur offers a romantic getaway steeped in royal heritage. The crown jewel of the city is the magnificent City Palace, a sprawling complex perched on the banks of Lake Pichola.
Namche Bazaar, perched at 3,440 meters in the Khumbu region of Nepal, is often called the gateway to Everest, but it’s far more than a rest stop on the way to Base Camp. Once a trading post between Tibetan and Nepali merchants, Namche has developed into a small mountain town where yak caravans and Wi-Fi cafes exist side by side. Despite its remote location, it has a Saturday market that continues to bring traders and trekkers together, just as it did centuries ago.
Napa Valley, California, is synonymous with world-class wine, offering a refined yet welcoming escape to one of the most renowned wine regions on the planet. Nestled between the Mayacamas Mountains and Vaca Range, Napa Valley boasts over 400 wineries. Tourists flock to this bucolic haven to experience wine tastings, vineyard tours, and cellar explorations. But Napa is more than just a destination for wine lovers; it's a gateway to California's finest culinary offerings.

From Rockhampton you can discover the richness and diversity of this region. To the east the blue waters of the Pacific Ocean lap the Capricorn Coast which is grandly decorated with stretches of sandy beaches, the Great Barrier Reef and semi-tropical islands.
Heritage trails and reminders of years gone by abound at Mt Morgan, an old gold mining town 40 minutes drive south, which carries many reminders of its days of wealth.
West of Rockhampton you discover a section of Australia's outback territory. Here you will find the region's gemfields - towns resplendent with names such as Emerald, Anakie and Rubyvale. The national parks of Carnarvon Gorge and Blackdown Tableland are within striking distance of Rockhampton and provide a lush and tropical escape from a landscape which is home to some of the best sunsets you'll see anywhere in Australia. Rockhampton, just seven hours drive or an hour's flight from the capital Brisbane, is situated on the Tropic of Capricorn.
Many visitors stop at the Capricorn Information Centre to inspect "The Spire" built to commemorate this longitude. Attractions in the region range from the informative to the adventurous, from the mainland to the deep sea.
