Kings Canyon, located in Australia’s Northern Territory within Watarrka National Park, is one of the Red Centre’s most striking natural landmarks. Carved over millions of years, the canyon holds deep cultural significance for the Anangu people, particularly the Luritja, for whom the area remains a sacred landscape tied to creation stories, ceremony, and traditional knowledge.

Stratton is a mountain destination in southern Vermont, United States, centered around Stratton Mountain Resort. It sits within the Green Mountains, where forested slopes and changing seasons define the landscape.

Eugene is home of the University of Oregon. It is a culturally and athletically diverse city. Bicycling magazine rates it as one of the top cycling communities in the country because of its numerous scenic bike baths. The Saturday Market features musical performers, arts and crafts, and fresh produce. Neighboring Springfield is the gateway to the McKenzie River Recreation Area, featuring whitewater rafting and camping.

Homer, Alaska, sits at the end of the Kenai Peninsula and is often called the “end of the road,” where dramatic landscapes meet a vibrant small-town spirit. Overlooking Kachemak Bay, the town is framed by snowcapped mountains, glaciers, and a striking spit of land that juts four miles into the sea.

Although not accessible by road, it is Peru's most important commerical center in the east. It is on the Amazon which is wide enough to allow freighters at their busy port. The 1880's saw the rubber boom and recently oil has been the boom.

Southeast Spain's seaport of Cartagena is a large naval base on the Mediterranean coast. The city was founded in 220 B.C. and boasts Roman ruins, mosaics and murals.
