Carlsbad is the gateway to the famous Carlsbad Caverns National Park and the Guadalupe Mountains National Park. Carlsbad offers a variety of outdoor recreation, and its location on the Pecos River opens the door to great fun on the water. This friendly small city is a wonderful place to visit.

Providenciales, often called “Provo,” is the most developed island in the Turks and Caicos archipelago and a gateway to some of the clearest waters in the Caribbean. Its coastline is famous for long stretches of white sand and shallow turquoise seas that seem to shift color with the sun. Grace Bay Beach, the island’s most celebrated shoreline, runs uninterrupted for more than 19 kilometers and is consistently ranked among the best beaches in the world.

Ōhakune is a small town in New Zealand’s North Island, located at the southern edge of Tongariro National Park. It sits near the base of Mount Ruapehu, one of the country’s most active volcanoes, and serves as a gateway to alpine landscapes.

Virginia is a state where past and present share the same ground. Nestled in the mountains just 90 minutes from Tokyo, Hakone has long been a retreat for travelers seeking both quiet and culture. Once a crucial checkpoint on the historic Tōkaidō road between Edo and Kyoto, Hakone is still shaped by centuries of history. The reconstructed Hakone Sekisho (Hakone Checkpoint) offers a glimpse into the Edo Period, when travelers were inspected by samurai guards before continuing on their journey.

Santa Cruz is in stark contrast to La Paz. Climate is tropical and altitude is only 1,250 feet. It is on the eastern lowland side of the Andes mountain range and one of the gateways to Bolivia's jungle area. Trinidad is the other. Much of Bolivia's natural resources, including agricultural products, are found in this area. Although Santa Cruz has grown tremendously some parts of downtown still retain a look of an Old West frontier town. Carnival is an especially happy time to be in Santa C
