A most pleasant and picturesque county, famed for its scenic beauty. Bordered by the Blackstairs Mountains and Mount Leinster, the county is divided by the rivers Barrow and Slaney. Cradle Mountain, located within the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area, is one of Australia's most distinctive landscapes. The mountain and surrounding area are part of Cradle Mountain–Lake St Clair National Park, which was established in 1922 and has since become a cornerstone of Tasmania’s protected wildlands.

Mikumi National Park, located in Tanzania's southern highlands, offers a pristine and relatively undiscovered safari experience. Spanning over 3,230 square kilometers, Mikumi is part of the larger Selous Ecosystem, providing a diverse range of habitats from open grasslands to dense miombo woodlands. This park is an excellent choice for those seeking a more tranquil alternative to the more frequented Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater.

This city, which started as a modest fishing village, now offers plenty of modern German charm. Although not accessible by road, it is Peru's most important commerical center in the east. It is on the Amazon which is wide enough to allow freighters at their busy port. The 1880's saw the rubber boom and recently oil has been the boom.
