Plettenberg Bay is the jewel of The Garden Route. It's more than a village, less than a town. Plettenberg Bay is tranquil and charming, hospitable and rather special. Originally christened "Bahia Formosa" (beautiful bay) by early Portuguese explorers, Plettenberg Bay can now be accessed by first class national roads, by sea or by scheduled air flights.

Besides being one of the largest and most remote of the Galapagos Islands, Fernandina Island is home to the area's most active volcano. It also boasts the most pristine ecosystem; unlike other islands in the Galapagos, Fernandina has thus far avoided the introduction of any non-native mammal species.

New River Gorge National Park & Preserve in West Virginia has captured the attention of travelers with its rugged landscape and storied past. Kumai is an Indonesian port city, at the southern end of the island of Borneo. Its main tourist draws include the Patih Mamband waterfall, a popular area for diving and fishing; several white sand beaches; and the Tanjung Puting National Park, best known for its wildlife. It is also home to Camp Leakey, a research center focusing mainly on orangutans, gibbons, and the proboscis (or long-nosed)monkeys endemic to the island.

Mikulov, located in the heart of South Moravia in the Czech Republic, is a picturesque town known for its rich history, stunning architecture, and exceptional wine culture.
