Chiang Dao is a mountain district in Chiang Mai Province, northern Thailand, known for its limestone peaks, cave systems, and quiet agricultural valleys. The town sits beneath Doi Luang Chiang Dao, one of the highest mountains in Thailand, which shapes the landscape and daily life of the area.

Flatts is a small historic village on Bermuda’s North Shore, centered around Flatt’s Inlet, a narrow waterway connecting Harrington Sound with the Atlantic Ocean. Padang is the third largest city and the capital of West Sumatra. It is the biggest seaport along its west coast, and is a center of business and government. The terrain of the city is mostly flat, and the name Padang actually means "plain." But if you venture outside of the city limits, the scenery is quite lovely going towards the neighboring city of Solok.

Shangri-La City, formerly known as Zhongdian, was renamed after the fictional paradise of James Hilton's "Lost Horizon" in an effort to promote tourism in 2001. Located in northwestern Yunnan province, Shangri-La is commonly used as a gateway into Tibet.
