The Karoo National Park is one of the quietest places on Earth. The park is known to be breathtakingly quiet, offering its visitors an opportunity to really connect with nature.

Founded in 1721 by mainland Chinese, it is the third largest city in Taiwan. Occupied by Japanese from 1895-1945, it totally leveled and rebuilt. With many museums, gardens and universities, it is considered the cultural center of Taiwan.

Kilkenny is a city where history sits beside everyday life, and stories from centuries past shape the streets visitors walk today. At its heart stands Kilkenny Castle, first built in the 12th century and home to the Butler family for more than 600 years. From here, the Medieval Mile creates a natural path through the city, linking key sites such as St. Canice’s Cathedral. Its round tower, one of the few in Ireland still open to climb, rewards visitors with wide views across the rooftops.

Boppard, the pearl of the Rhein, gets its nickname from the fact that it is situated on part of a horse-shoe ben in the Rhein, resembling a pearl in an oyster shell. This bend is one of the most severe anywhere on the Rhein, so much so that the town frontage faces due north while the vineyards, one the same band face due south. The bend is also known as the "bendiest bend on the Rhein."

Adjoining the idyllic farm of the McGill family are miles of beaches, tussock grass, and wildflower meadows, the nesting grounds of hundreds of Magellanic and gentoo penguins, upland and kelp geese, crested and flightless steamer ducks, tussock birds, and night herons. A religious center since the 4th century, it has numerous churches and religious sites. It is the fourth largest city in France, located in southern France near the border with Andorra.
